Eating healthy doesn't mean you always have to eat at home. It's OK to go out once in a while. Don't be afraid to order foods. Being healthy is all about picking and making the right choice. For the healthy addicts:

1. Water. Just order plain water. Much healthier and cheaper than those sugary beverages. It's also a good detoxifier.
2. No rice. Rice is carbs. Don't over stack on this opt to order bread. Another thing chicken and rice combi-meals have double the fat and calories compared to something much simpler like chicken fingers or nuggets.
3. Fruits. For dessert choose fruit platter instead of sundaes, float, cakes and shakes. Some fruits also aids for good digestive system.
4. Fries is fattening. A standard fries have calories, only calories over a sandwich which in fact is a complete meal by itself coz it has carbs, protein, fats, and sodium. Plus fries absorbs so much oil that is bad for our digestive system.
5. Napkin. It helps aborbs all those unneccessary fats and greases on your favorite fried meals.

OMG! H1N1 (deadly flu right?) is really hitting the town. a lot of schools here in the Philippines are postponing their classes due to this flu-turning epidemic. it's all over the country as well. the cases have gone up to more than 800 already. but fortunately, most of them have recovered already and only 1 has died.

FYI H1N1 symptoms to name a few are: sore throat, cough, headache, and fever above 37.5oC. Thinking back, i thank God I did not get sick while I was in China or else be quarantined back in the Philippines. To think that in Guangzhou the weather wasn't good at all, gloomy and rainy and most of the time were spent in the market with all those people around. Good thing I brought several medicines just in case I'll need one.

Me and my son had our flu shot but with the virus all over already, you dont know who has it, hence hard to know who to avoid. with proper hygiene, hopefully, we'll be spared.

i was out of circulation for a while. i've been vomitting and suffering from diarrhea so bad i had to see the doctor already. i went last monday and was jsut prescribed some antibiotics. she told me it's food poisoning. im now wondering which food i ate caused this? i dont know anybody who suffered the same fate as i am. i lost some weight in the process (who needs a diet pill?!).

im still resting and with my mom arriving tomorrow, im sure i'll gain back the weight i lost. we'll be eating out like crazy and trying to spend as much time as we can. she's leaving on the 22nd so we have to take advantage of every moment that we have. actually, im just excited with her pasalubongs more than anything else =)

would you believe me if i told you that i can easily lose weight just by eating less every meal? for the record, i eat alot and i mean ALOT! i seldom eat very little. i can't live without rice, at all! everybody's been asking me where i keep all the food i eat. honestly i don't know. i find it hard to gain weight, maybe I'll gain a bit but not that significant. and every time i don't eat much, I'll end up losing a lot of weight. weird! people say that I'm so lucky having a body frame like this, probably a fast mechanism, but i always say that i would love to gain some weight. im not one of them obssessed with size 0 clothes!

i try hard to eat breakfast. i would grab a toast and hot chocolate or coffee before heading off to work. or if me and my husband still have time, we would eat porridge or whatever the cook prepared that morning. but it's getting busier and busier everyday that i end up having breakfast at work, before doing store visits. i know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but life's just been crazy lately that even that, i don't have time for.

anyways, i still try my best to have breakfast. but my sister, you'll never really force her to if she doesn't want. she always feel bloated. i wonder how she keeps up with her busy schedule as well. me, im sure im gonna collapse if i don't drink coffee or hot chocolate at least.

so, how many of you have breakfast each day?
