before i search for used rv for sale for my cousin's friend, let me share with you the wardrobe basics
I've trimmed it down to 9 categories, what every woman should invest for in her closet.
First on our list is the classic shirt. A must have is a white. It can either have feminine details such as ruffled neckline, pleated front, or detailed collar. But don't forget that it must be versatile enough to work with almost all bottoms. Well, if you don't have a white shirt, any neutral or earth colored shirt will do.
Second is a good pair of pant. One that you can wear for your corporate meetings. Black is very classic, just make sure the cut is right for your body type. You could never go wrong with a straight cut style. Wide leg pants and manly trousers are also a classic picks.
Blazers/Jackets/Suits. One must pick the right cut and color coz its so versatile it can go with almost every outfit you have. Layering is a technique to update your look.
Dressy tops. Pick those with potential to go from daytime look to night out with girls look. Fabric is very important in choosing one for it should follow your silhoutte and should accentaute your assets.
Jeans. An ultra super dark pair is a must have in a girl's closet. Although, FYI, darker jeans hide a big bottom while a lighter washes suit lean frames. A great fitting flares never goes out of trend. Skirt. Invest in pieces with versatile waistline. One that stand the test of time. If you love your legs, then flaunt it, wear a slightly above the knee skirt.
Day time dresses, or what most women called, the sunday dress. A solid color that will match your skin tone and that you can use over and over again. The trick in achieving different looks with just one dress is layering and accessorizing.
Everyday - anything goes outfit. One that you're comfortable to wear. An outfit you won't regret of wearing it out.
And lastly, The LBD, the little black dress. Pick a cut that flatters your figure and hides your flaws. If your LBD is super plain, accessorize it. Or if you really want your LBD to stand out, buy one with beads and sequins work.Labels: fashion

Now that I'm jobless and still haven't found a job (not trying to look anyways, hehehe), I've been thinking of ways on how to generate extra income. And since I'm very fond of bags, I've decided to create bag organizers. We'll, for those who doesn't have any idea of what a bag organizer is, it looks like a belt bag with several pockets where you could put all your kikay stuff, cellphones, wallets and etc. without the hassle of digging in to your big bag, it organizes all your stuff. Just right for those ladies with lots of necessities.
Anyways, for those who are interested in ordering please feel free to contact me here, it's price is very reasonable, and it's very cute...I know coz I do all the designs.
ciao!

Back in college, we have this subject called Fashion Art Design. Here we get to design garments. Every year, 3rd year students from Advertising Arts get to showcase their talent in fashion designing in a fashion show. During my time, that was 3 years ago, the theme for our fashion show was M.U.S.T. or Music Sets Style, wherein students get to choose inspirations from different music genres. I wasn't planning in joining the fashion show since it would be costly for my part because you have to produce the actual design and the minimum design is 3 sets. My friend insisted that we join, and she got me as her model for her 80's genre. As for me I chose the 60's psychedelic genre, good thing nobody else did. Fortunately, I won the Most Promising Designer for the year, and not only that, I also won the best model for Jag, since we got them to sponsor our fashion show. Anyways here's my winning sketch for the fashion show. Labels: fashion

this is my collection of bangles. I'm quite very fond of them especially those unique ones which I bought in Cebu, really one of a kind. Whenever I'm in Cebu, I make it a point to go to their trade shows to buy one, especially those made from wood (which I find very attractive). I did not really collect all of them, some of them were gifts from my sister (set of colored plastic bangles), the others were pasalubong from my officemate which she bought in thailand. So if you know where can I find some cool bangles (or any body jewelry for that matter) let me know...I just looove them..hehehe Labels: fashion

since i'm in the fashion industry (apparel/garments that is), i would like to share some of the upcoming trends for spring/summer 2008. Summer 2008 is in living colors. bright with a hint of pale hues with bold patterns are definitely in. the trend may seem a bit too loud but its really not that overwhelming. in fact its femininely whimsical and sophisticated playfulness. as for the cut, long dresses define the new glamour, waisted-high pants paired with very flowy big tops is the new version of chic boho. in short the glamour of 70's is back!
