 when I was taking photos of my bag collection, my son kept on bugging me to take photos of his shoes. I told him that I was busy and I would do his shoes later. and the next thing I knew, he was lining up his shoes! I was surprised to see that he has many pairs especially slippers. I just realized that whenever I see a cute pair, I immediately buy it without without thinking whether he needs another one. Anyways he's so arte that he matches his shoes with what he's wearing. I remember one time, he was wearing white shirt with red prints, he told me he'll be wearing the red chucks coz there's red print on his shirt (so Arte for a little boy no!) FYI, I hate those chucks, so hard to put on. but it's cute. it's his favorite pair. Labels: adam

lulubog-lilitaw (now you see, now you dont). that's me. im not even going to explain anymore as i would already sound like a broken record player. this is my life and will be for the next months since my mom is leaving again (for the US) and i will have my hands full again. but im coping. i just hope you pardon my absence and my weekly updates (you can't even call it that!).
my sister has posted some pictures of my son's graduation, which i sent her. yup, the graduation was held at the sm food court. saya saya! i will try to post pictures of our recent trip to quezon. actually, it's not recent anymore because we went there last holy week. see how delayed i am in everything!?! my son's 4th bday just passed by (april 9). we did not have a 'proper' party, not the whole works anyway (mommy, where are my birthday invitations? - adam. bless!). but he still had a good time.
we didnt have a big party this year, unlike his 1st and 3rd, because i dont want him to always expect a birthday party. but we gave him a small one, nonetheless. we set up the gazebo at home, filled it with lots of balloons and a long table full of foods, with all the kids wearing a party hat (with raymond's family as usual). as he came out of the door, the emotions on his face was super mixed. he got shy and closed the door but eventually came out with a smile on his face. he was happy with all the gifts he got from us (i bought him a spiderman mighty muggs action figure and his dad bought him a spiderman squirting gloves and mask). im pretty sure we were able to give him a party he'll never forget.
my family wasn't able to come but we celebrated yesterday. we went to their place and we went to mall of asia, where my dad treated us to a sumptuous lunch and dinner. adam chose his gifts and went grocery shopping. im sure he enjoyed that! such a spoiled brat!
we plan to have a party every other year. let's see if that will push through =D Labels: adam, money money money

last march 28 my son graduated from nursery. he represented his class to recite a poem (little boy blue). i was so nervous he might forget his lines but luckily, he said it right, loud and clear. proud parent i was! he was awarded as the most active student in his class, i dont know if it's a good thing or not *lol*. his class is only composed of 8 pupils so everybody was given an award. happy that he finished the school year with flying colors. when my mom and sister asked him to recite the poem, he changed it to little boy green. because it's his favorite color! we couldn't stop laughing! my little boy's getting bigger and smarter. he talks so much. he's like an older guy trapped in a child's body. even if me and my husband were already sleepy, adam is still wide awake and he keeps on talking and humming to himself. then there was this one time when me and my mom were talking, we heard him say to us, "blah, blah, blah, ayoko ng makipagusap!" we were surprised, and couldn't stop laughing! adam has been curious lately of what we do when we go to work. he asks questions like, where do you go exactly, what do you do, do you 'play' on your computers... he said one day, he wants to come. he thinks that it's all play play play and fun fun fun. we told him, it's what grown ups do so we can buy him his toys. he said, but you'll just type type type like lolo (hubby's uncle - probably saw him in his home office). so now, he has this idea that work is just sitting pretty, working at an executive desk, telling people what to do. i know that's fun (if you're the boss) but if you're doing the bidding, that sucks! but let him enjoy childhood first and not let him worry of what will be when he grows up. adam, waiting for mommy to get home ready to sleep my baby is now growing up fast! aint he cute?! well, he's cute if he's in a good mood. most of the time naman good mood sya. pero if he wants something, naku, he has to get it! my mom was telling me, they went to sm to buy a toy, as requested by the brat. when they got home, nd daw un ang gusto nya! so they went back so he could buy another toy. this time, gusto na daw nya *lol*. that's what grandparents are for, to spoil our children! the other night, i was using my laptop to make my nephew's baptismal invitation. my son kept on bugging me as he also wants to use the computer. i told him to stop or i will spank him coz i really really need to finish the invitation (my brother's making kulit na). anyways, as always, he called up his lolo and lola ganda to make sumbong. he kept on saying that he wants a laptop just like mine. i realized that i haven't got him any presents yet for Christmas so i got him his own toy laptop. now he bugs me no more =) Labels: adam

hubby told me this story and i was laughing my guts out! when i was away, they went to the mall to buy something. and adam having diarrhea, obviously, he needed to go to the toilet. unfortunately, the cr was packed with people. he started to cry because he couldn't make pigil anymore his pupu. the janitor taking pity on him told him to just do it in the urinal and he'll clean it up for him.
adam: no. it's not a toilet bowl (namili pa!)
janitor: eto o, tabo and sabon. pwede dyan
adam: no! im not a dog!
natawa na lang sila. then a man came out of one of the cubicles and commented:
man: kaya pala maingay ung bata, najejebs
adam: ikaw kasi, tagal tagal mo lumabas!
*lol* pahiya tuloy si mama. they were all laughing hard. adam had his turn and having diarrhea, he pooped water. he came out of the cubicle saying:
adam: d naman ako nag pupu. suka lang. *lol* Labels: adam
when i got home from cebu last week, adam lost some weight (and i've only been gone 3 days!). apparently, he's had diarrhea but he was ok when i got home. before his dad could explain why adam had diarrhea, adam made sumbong na his dad. he said: si daddy kasi, mommy, lagi nya ko binibigyan ng chocolate na square e. *lol* lagot si daddy, buking! i was in SM san lazaro doing mall visits the other day so i told my mom to meet me there. afterwards, i dropped by my parent's house. when i got home and told adam that i've been to see my mom, he got mad at me. he was hitting me (he apologized after i told him what he did was wrong) and was really throwing tantrums around. he wanted to go daw. bkt nd ko daw sya sinama *lol*. sabi ko i was at work and he was in school. it wasn't planned. i told him we'll go this weekend naman e. malamang papabili lang naman ng toys un sa lolo at lola nya! i noticed that my son is showing a lot of interest and talent in drawing. at the age of three he can already draw very detailed images. he likes to draw different characters and caricatures of his family. I'm so proud and happy to say that he got his talent from his parents. just for the record, both of us, me and my husband were fine arts grads, gifted with artistic skills..hehehe. anyways, this weekend we plan to go to the mall to buy some coloring stuff for him, I'm sure he'll love it. i hope i remember to post some of his artwork in my next posts. grabe, my sister has these videos pa pala. they were taken at our house a day or 2 before they went back to uk. she's pestering adam with all these questions and trying to catch everything on video. naman nga lang, we have a proper video cam pero nd ginamit! sabagay, mas handy kasi ang phone cam =). adam was just 2 and i just came home from work kaya sorry if i looked haggard! i was preparing our things as we stayed at our parent's house till ate left for uk. it's just nice seeing these videos again. im pretty sure there was a video of adam doing the hiphop thing. i'll ask her to look for it. my son now knows how to sing the national anthem. we just find it hilarious that he sometimes changes the lyrics to the song. what do you expect! it's such a long song to memorize for a 3 year old! im pretty sure i did not learn to sing the song till i was already in gradeschool! Labels: adam

adam had his exams a week late. he was allowed by his school to defer his exams until after the holidays. we went to palawan at that time tapos todos los santos. anyways, my smarty pants got perfect scores in all but one subject, science. my gulay, tama bang ang tanong different parts of the plants. he only got 96 on that subject. d ba grade 1 pa un tinuturo? not at 3 years old! but nevertheless, im so so proud of him! he's actually claiming his power ranger toy that we promised if he does well in school. and he did. kaya i better him his toy or he might think we're not taking him seriously. galing for a 3 year old d b? i miss my son. i won't be home till this weekend. i missed his trick or treat-ing today in our village. he's going as zorro! he was pretty excited about this, his cape, his mask, his sword... last year he went as green lantern. he wanted to be a super hero again but i said, he should be somebody else, still a hero but im just fed up of his justice league facination *lol* (bad mom!). i just want him to broaden his interests, that's all! anyways, i hope his dad took pictures of him. long time, no post again. since my mom went to uk, i have been extra busy. i go to work on saturdays too and most weekends, we go to my parent's house and leave my little brat there. it's usually my mom who babysits my boy, since my dad's at work and i would definitely not leave him with my 17 year old brother who's so busy with his girlfriend! since there's no mom to leave the little brat with, who does our grocery shopping at times, i have to do extra things now. she'll be back in november but till then, i'll have my hands full. now i appreciate her even more!
anyhoo, my little boy perfected his oral and written exams. he's the number one in his class. although my sister's teasing adam because there's only 8 of them in the class. but who cares, he's still number one and still the most intelligent 3 year old i know *lol*. syempre, love your own, right? =) he got a handsome reward from my dad for being on top of his class. atta boy! sorry no post in a long while! i have been to cebu for store visits. it's part of the job and now im starting to enjoy it, with all these travelling it entails. although, i still feel torn because i really don't wanna be away from my son that long (at least 3 days!).
i have also paid up our hotel accomodations for our palawan get-away this october. this time with my family. yey! we'll be flying to puerto princessa and basically, just taking the same holiday trip which my sister took during their honeymoon. highly recommended nya kasi so we're trying it out. sayang, our youngest brother was supposed to come with us but since he's studying in mapua, quad sem, he won't be able to come since the only week he's off from school, enrolment time naman!
anyways, my son had his exams, oral and written, last week. and he got perfect scores in both! so so proud of him! his teachers say that he's advance for his age. i just hope he doesn't get bored with school and continues to excel in his studies. well, that's it for now. Labels: adam, travel, work

sometimes i wonder who my son took after. he doesn't fail to amaze me with his smartness. he goes to nursery school at a young age of 3. even then, he could already identify letters, numbers and colors. he loves to doodle and would ask people around him to write this and that so he could imitate them. they're not taught how to read or write properly yet but he's trying to learn by himself.
recently, we were going somewhere when he started reading texts along the way. not read them literally but spell them. like when he saw the word exit, he said e-x-i-t. then when he gets home, he will try to write them down.
i wish i could spend more time with him, to teach him new tricks. but to be able to provide him a good future, we have to work and leave him on his own to learn. *sigh*. the pains of being a working mom.

sorry if i haven't been updating my blog recently. was busy with work (what's new?!) and my son, adam has been sick with cough and colds. i had to ask my mom to bring my baby boy to his pedia and unfortunately, he was diagnosed with slight asthma.
my mom is leaving for uk this friday and adam and i will miss her. ala ng magyayaya ke adam pag off ng totoong yaya nya! hahaha joke joke joke!

my son, who is 3 years old, is now attending nursery school. one time, the class was singing 'my toes, my knees...' with actions. he can't follow what they're doing since he's at the back and being little, can't see what the teacher was doing. so what he did was left his position at the back and went in front, right beside the teacher! that is without being prompted! he was able to follow suit. how wise can he get?! for a 3 yr old? maabilidad!
