Ondoy
the philippines, particularly the metropolis, recently faced a natural disaster. a very strong typhoon destroyed lots of properties, took a lot of lives and left a lot homeless. keep your donations coming, to help our fellow filipinos get over this tragedy and reclaim their lives again.
fortunately, nothing serious happened to our families. we're all safe and warm in alabang while my parent's house only got a foot high water in the house. nothing that a good clean can't fix.
our youngest brother was wise enough to leave his car in mapua where it's higher. otherwise, it would have been soaked like our other brother's. water leaked in his car but nothing as serious as those cars in uerm. he had it washed already and has been replacing auto accessories ever since. taking the opportunity i guess.
fortunately, the other typhoon, parma, didnt cause much damage as ketsana. i just hope nothing like this happens again. not until those badly affected get their lives back. it's hard to be slapped one after the other.
