last saturday we had our company outing in subic, olongapo city. we experienced some rains during our stay in the ocean adventure. i enjoyed the most watching the sea lions do their stuff like break dancing, smiling, and acting like a spy. didn't quite enjoy watching the dolphins swim, it was boring, was not impressed. anyways after our ocean adventure, we went to Camayan beach resort, just beside the park. there we had our lunch with all of the concept clothing employees. it was fun though i should have swam with my other officemates (brought my swim suit). the group that i'm with didnt want to swim so i had no choice but to accept the boredom... i slept na lang.. my sister told me that the wembley stadium in uk has metal roofing. it's usually used for large buildings because of its strength and durability. i've never been to uk, but my friend has. and she's seen a concert at the wembley (the spice girls, to be exact). and she's been rattling on about how big it is. i did some research and found one of these facts. i'll see it one day. when my brother from dubai came home last week, he wanted to have an executive check-up. the problem is, he was only here less than a week and with other things he needed to do, he wasn't able to do this. he also thought that medical diagnostics can be done in a day and get the results the same day. no, honey. it takes at least 3 days! he doesn't trust doctors in dubai, that's why. anyways, they're planning to come home in november, for my nephew's first birthday. hopefully, he'll have it done then. i hate my skin right now. when i went to china, it went all dry. it was so chilly there that no amount of moisturiser can get my skin to look healthy. and then when i got home, i got oily naman. seesh! and now i have some pimples on my face. anybody who can recommend a natural acne treatment? i've tried loads of stuff, but nothing seems to work. i need to see my derma, asap! speaking of brothers, the one based in dubai is coming home tonight. he was really adding up the miles, having been to uk, then to milan then to the philippines (too bad, he's not bringing his little boy and wifey with him). anyways, he said he's upgrading the computer system at home (im sure, the other 2 boys will be very very pleased!). since they already have dsl connection at home, and brother number 2 just bought a wireless router, they're just waiting for brother 1 to sort it all out. he said he's bringing home several video cards so brothers 2 and 3 will be able to play online and watch loads of films. tsk tsk. im sure if we still live together, we'll be at each other's necks trying to hog the pc for ourselves =D.

before my brother came home, the one who used to be based in saudi, he excitedly told our younger brother that he's got a special gadget for him. as he's aware that little bro already has a psp (courtesy of our other brother), little bro was expecting a playstation 3 from him. afterall, what could be better than a psp, right?
anyways, when he got his 'gift', he couldnt stop laughing as it's just a ps2 he brought home from uk, which our bro-in-law gave! such a cheapskate! Labels: money money money
today is our last day. im already bored, can't wait to go home tomorrow to see my son. we just sourced out some supplies that we'll need for our products. it would have been nice if we had some R&R (rest and recreation) but the full week we stayed here was spent mostly working *lol*. anyways, nothing will beat my colleague's boredom. imagine her lcd monitor giving out the last minute. she can't wait to go home and have it fixed. she's too hooked with 'surfing' she can't survive without it. we're just taking turns looking after her, otherwise, she said she'll commit suicide. *lol* Labels: money money money

my best bud, thrish, is a little depressed right now. she's a registered nurse, even passed her nclex. she's desperate to leave the country. she's the only one left here in the Phils, all her family are in the states already. she told me, she's being offered a job but in another field - sales. she has a pretty good background with sales, her family having owned their own buy and sell shop. she saw an advert for one of the Atlanta jobs, had her interview and was told she's qualified. but the thing is, nursing is her first love. i told her to just wait and be patient. she was told it will take about at least 18months before her papers are processed. time flies so fast anyway, she will hardly notice the 18 montths passing by. last wednesday, i did not go to work. it was the last day of my driving lessons and i want to spend some quality time with my son before i fly to china. well, im actually in china now, buying some stuff we need for work. i'll be away for 4 more days and im just wishing that im on holiday instead, with my family, in one of the Caribbean villa rentals. it's one of my dream holidays. maybe when we visit my sister in uk, we can do a side trip.
