Taking Too Long
my best bud, thrish, is a little depressed right now. she's a registered nurse, even passed her nclex. she's desperate to leave the country. she's the only one left here in the Phils, all her family are in the states already. she told me, she's being offered a job but in another field - sales. she has a pretty good background with sales, her family having owned their own buy and sell shop. she saw an advert for one of the Atlanta jobs, had her interview and was told she's qualified. but the thing is, nursing is her first love. i told her to just wait and be patient. she was told it will take about at least 18months before her papers are processed. time flies so fast anyway, she will hardly notice the 18 montths passing by.
