Unsanitary
a friend is based in india. she's there because she married an indian she met while she was in france (how unusual!). anyways, she's pregnant now but she came home to have her baby in the philippines. she said she's witnessed how some hospitals there are unsanitary, some even share exam gloves. she did not want to risk it, so she came home.
i told her, we do have hospitals here that doesn't necessarily score high on sanitation. you'll get that in some low-budgeted, public hospitals. i know it's bad, and sad, but sometimes, there's just no choice.
but good on her. she's got a choice and she chose being safe than sorry.
