Termites

our ancestral home in quezon has recently been demolished. i really feel sad because that's where we spend our summer breaks when we were younger and where us, cousins, would meet regularly for special occasions. it's just sad that after our grandparents died, nobody really looked after it.

the reason for the demolition is that it has been infested by termites. that house is made of solid wood. fine narra wood, to be exact. but because it hasn't been looked after, the termites feasted away! it has become a threat for public safety. so my dad's family decided, it would be best to just bring the house down.

if only they were able to identify the problem early, if someone actually lived there, probably it wouldn't have come to this end. they could have used
Terminix to kill all those pests.

o well... life goes on...
