Emergency Money

Last night, one of our colleagues phoned most of us to ask if we could lend her some money. her daughter was rushed to the hospital because of high fever and vomiting. it's a few more days till payday but unfortunately, she hasn't got much cash left. we all chipped in with whatever amount we can spare. but she will still need a bit more because last time i've heard, the little girl will be hospitalized.

this is really scary. having no money for emergencies like these. how would people get through with this? some rely on family, others, friends and charitable institutions. others, they take on
payday loans. they say it's safe and you can get fast approval. knowing the options is fairly calming.

i hope her little girl gets better soon so she could enjoy the christmas holidays.
