i've never had a checking account. i don't see the need until i was tasked to deal with our suppliers and clients recently. if i am opening my own business in the near future (i hope!), i would need to open a checking account. i think it makes transaction safe and at least, i'll be able to monitor and see where the money went and when it will be taken from my account.
there's still a lot i need to learn if i want to have my own business. but im learning everyday.
