Travel Time
my husband's uncle is thinking of treating the whole family, not just ours, but the whole clan, to a trip to either the US or europe next year. he said he wants to spend time with everyone, all together in one place at one given time. nice ey? our assignment is to come up with an itinerary that's good for the old and young ones alike. the best one, which means the most feasible one, gets to have a free trip to either singapore or hong kong. is that a good deal or what??!!
good thing my sister recommended booking Hotel Reservations with HotelReservations.com. prices are reasonable, they offer not just flights and accomodations but also car hire and suggests which accomodation is near a specific tourist spot. this is really making my research easy!

im taking consensus first on who wants to go to the states and who wants to go to europe. it seems that the younger ones want to go to the US and the adults, europe. i could understand why but that would be a problem! we have to all go together. unless... uncle would agree to perhaps spending a few weeks in the US and a few weeks in europe as a compromise *lol*
anyways, with the low prices im getting from hotelreservations.com, im a bit confident that uncle would give in. we are really happy that he's thought of this. not because it's a freebie but the idea is really nice. we seldom get together as most people are working and are all living busy lives.
i might suggest this to my own family. imagine, we are scattered in 4 countries! we have to get together some time. airfares and accomodations are now affordable, im sure they'll find this a brilliant idea!
do you think i ought to plan that hong kong or singapore trip as well? =)
